APOLLO 11 CREW SIGNED CERTIFICATE 15TH ANNIVERSARY ARMSTRONG ALDRIN COLLINS

Offered here is this genuine Apollo 11 crew signed poster, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the mission during the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans.
CONDITION
The condition of this example is immaculate. This piece has been in its frame for over 3 decades. No fading, no stains, no issues. A pristine 10.
DESCRIPTION
Signed (actual signatures) at center by Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin, with the additional signature of NASA Administrator James Beggs at lower left. Framed with an Apollo 11 patch and completed with a gold NASA seal. Matted and framed to a size of 20.5″ x 25.75″.
Needless to say, any item signed by all three Apollo 11 crew members is of tremendous value, and this certificate carries the added significance of officially commemorating their remarkable achievement! It is important to note that Neil Armstrong stopped signing autographs in 1994.
Undoubtedly, an example like this will continue to increase in value over time. This is an impressive piece that will be a great addition to any Space Exploration display.
PROVENANCE
The certificate also has unusually strong
provenance. The 15th anniversary appearance of
Armstrong, Aldrin, Collins, and Beggs at the Louisiana World's Fair was a well documented event.
This piece comes from the collection of Lt. Col. Robert Wilson Smith (last photo). He graduated from the Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base in 1956. He flew more than fifty aircraft types during testing there and at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. In 1962, he was assigned to the Aerospace Research Test Pilots School at Edwards for training as an astronaut candidate for Project Gemini.
After retiring from USAF, he worked for Martin Marietta as the Vice President of the Shuttle External Tank program.
Included will be the original picture of Robert W. Smith with the Apollo 11 crew.
