About the Apollo 16 Mission:
The Apollo 16 was the 5th (and second to last) NASA mission to land on the Moon. Lasting 11 days in April of 1972, Lunar Module Pilot Charlie Duke spent 71 hours exploring the Moon's surface. Collecting lunar specimens and conducting experiments along with Commander John Young, the two astronauts used the Lunar Roving Vehicle to investigate the Decartes and Cayley formations in the lunar highlands.
