Versatility ----- This set includes (1) 60-degree turning tool for turning, facing, boring, chamfering, threading, and V-grooving; (2) 75-degree turning tools (right and left) for turning, facing, boring, and for lead angles; and (2) 90-degree turning tools (right and left) for turning, facing, boring, and chamfering.
Indexable ----- Each carbide cutting tip has a triangular configuration with three identical cutting surfaces. The tips can be removed and rotated using the wrenches and screws included with the kit. The multiple cutting surfaces available provide longer tool life and rotating the bit does not change the overall configuration of the tool.
Superior Cutting Surface Construction ----- The sharp, straight, and even carbide inserts provide faster machining and produce an outstanding finish on machined material. The carbide cutting surface is designed to withstand higher temperatures than ordinary steel tools. Each carbide tip is coated with tin to provide long life and sharpness.
Extreme Durability And Toughness ----- Each turning tool body is made of high-quality industrial steel and is coated with nickel for durability and stout performance. Each part is moisture proof and resistant to rusting or corrosion.
