Greek KOMBOLOI Worry Beads Anxiety Beads 21 Beads 6 Jade 15 Silver Tone Vintage.
This is an item I found at an estate sale. I had no idea what it was until I started searching. Apparently he’s our worry beads. They do not have to be religious in nature but they can be. They can be used to calm my mind. I don’t know the age of these I just know that many of the items in the collection were from 1950 era. I will describe them to the best of moneyability these beads are on a silver color chain the chain is magnetic. It’s also tarnished so some areas look silver and some look black sixth of these appear to be jade or a natural stone. 15 of the beads are silver colored and also not magnetic. It’s hard to tell because they are on a magnetic chain don’t see any marks on this item identifying what the metal is it does have a nice feel. There is 20 wannabes on a longer chain so you have room to manipulate them is sliding charm shape like a shield that goes up and down the length of the chain. The very end there are two silver balls and one has tassels on the end. It appears to be Greek. A komboloi. It’s very unique .
